Activities:

Real World Day (November) at Radford
University |

Workshops to prepare for college and employment (held during
the school day, usually once per month) |

Field trips to visit high tech work sites |
• |
Possible summer internships with companies at the Virginia
Tech Corporate Research Center |
Eligibility
Criteria:

9th to 12th grade

•

Enrolled in Montgomery
County Public Schools |
•

Have either an IEP or 504 |
•
|
Interest or potential in either math, science,
computers or engineering |
•
|
Willing and able to attend monthly events during the school
day |
•
|
Willing and able to behave with maturity and professionalism |
